Dr. Jay Ranpariya
As a child Dr. Ranpariya’s parents had a farm in rural India. He was always curious about how and why things work and at a young age he became fascinated with caring for animals. It was these experiences that lead him in the direction of this profession that he enjoys being part of every day.
In 2009 he graduated and started practicing as mixed animal veterinarian in India. He then went to pursue master degree in veterinary surgery and continued to grow his experience. Dr Ranpariya practiced veterinary medicine for 6 years before he made a decision to come to Canada to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. He joined University of Guelph as a VSTEP (Veterinary skills and Training Enhancement Program) participant and graduated with several other foreign trained vets from all over the world. He then received the certification of DVM in 2016 and helping furry friends since then. In past he has worked in Niagara region and a very busy 24 hour practice in Stoney Creek and gained valuable experience. He became new owner of Kennedy-Eglinton Animal Hospital in 2018.
Dr. Ranpariya’s aim is to provide high quality, cost-effective Veterinary Medicine to community. His compassion for pets and their owners goes above and beyond.
